Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts and/or supply agreements. Provide initial capability reviews of suppliers and coordinate more in-depth cross functional review/approval with relevant departments. Develop, implement, coordinate and manage all aspects of new Co-Manufacturing projects to meet deadlines, quality and service requirements and total lowest landed cost possible. Act as a main liaison with suppliers while coordinating with other departments as needed. Develop and maintain packing and product specifications for assigned products and communicate audit specifications with suppliers. Maintain all pricing, Purchase Orders, contracts and agreements to ensure accuracy and timely entry. Identify optimal Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), inventory levels and safety stock based on lead-times and company inventory policy. Issue purchase orders to suppliers as customer orders, forecast, production plan and inventory policy demand. Setup and implement regular performance reviews of quality, service and cost. Lead and implement cost savings initiatives with supplier and other pertinent departments. Source products from qualifying vendors. Negotiate best possible price, terms, service and quality. Place timely orders for product deliveries. Follow-up on purchase orders and ensure product delivers on time. Maintain compliance with Antitrust Laws and all other applicable Federal or State Laws as required. Meet with brokers and/or vendors to develop and maintain positive vendor/client relationships.   Maintain confidentiality concerning all pricing and technical information of Farley’s and Sathers items and those submitted by suppliers to preserve a positive business reputation and/or to obtain competitive pricing. Investigate and resolve complaints or inconsistencies on purchased products recommending corrective or preventive actions when necessary. Monitor materials available for production plan. Work closely with Marketing on product changes, issues, and roll-outs. Attend/schedule/ facilitate cross-functional meetings. Identify productivity initiatives. Request quotes from current and potential suppliers on a regular basis. Gather performance data on vendors. Review factors which impact service and provide recommendations to resolve. Monitors inventory aging to ensure product does not become obsolete.
